Operate
Create an organisation and connect its own HaloPSA instance.
Tenant onboarding
An InboxLink organisation corresponds to one Microsoft Entra tenant. The Microsoft token—not a form field—provides the authoritative tenant ID.
Register a company
- Open the signup page.
- Enter the company name, Microsoft tenant and application IDs, HaloPSA HTTPS origin, and public Halo OAuth client ID. Create your company’s registration using Microsoft Entra setup first.
- Sign in with an active Entra Application Administrator, Cloud Application Administrator, or Global Administrator account in that company.
- Confirm that you are authorised to configure the organisation.
- Deploy the add-in manifest to a small pilot group.
The first verified setup administrator becomes the organisation owner. Re-registering the same Microsoft tenant requires an existing InboxLink owner or admin, retains its Microsoft application binding and updates its display and Halo connection settings. Share the returned workspace link and code with your users.
Add users
Users enter the workspace code once in Outlook or follow their workspace link on the website. Users are created only after a valid Microsoft API token from the company’s saved registration is presented. A user object ID is unique inside its own organisation, so the same identifier in another Microsoft tenant cannot resolve to the first company’s record.
New users receive a seat while the selected plan has capacity. Owners and admins can assign or remove seats in the workspace. See Billing and seats for trial expiry, subscription access, and plan limits.
Offboarding
Disable access in Microsoft Entra first. Then revoke the user’s HaloPSA grant and delete its active InboxLink sessions. Organisation deletion should be handled as a controlled administrative operation with a retention and export decision.
